BOARD BIOS


Bruce HarperBruce Harper played with the New York Jets for eight years, from 1977 to 1985. He led the NFL with more than 2,000 all-purpose yards for two consecutive years, and he led the AFC in the same category for four years. He was voted the Jets MVP in 1980, was a two-time Pro Bowl alternate, and held nine Jets records at one time. Several of those records stand today. In 2003, Bruce was selected as the Return Specialist on the Jets’ Four Decade Team. Bruce is co-founding Director of “Heroes and Cool Kids.” Bruce works as an ambassador with the New York Jets and is a board member of the Lodi Boys and Girls Club, the American Cancer Society, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation Board and United Water.

Stephen InglesinoStephen M. Inglesino has been an active participant in the Heroes and Cool Kids program for many years and joined the Board of Directors in 2007. He is a Vice President with TD Bank Wealth Management in Ramsey, NJ. Prior to TD Bank, Steve was associated with JP Morgan Securities in New York City and the Private Banking Divisions of Summit Bank in Morristown, NJ and Independence Community Bank based in Brooklyn, NY.

Steve holds a degree in Finance from Ithaca College.

Raised in Verona, NJ, Steve currently resides in Montville, NJ with his wife Lisa and two daughters, Jennifer and Rachel. He is a member of Montville UNICO and an active volunteer with Morris Habitat for Humanity and the Special Olympics of NJ. Steve enjoys coaching girls travel softball, golfing and following NY Jets football and Yankee baseball.

Richard W. Henning

Richard W. Henning currently serves as Senior Vice President, Communications, Community Relations and Proposal Development for United Water. In this position he is responsible for setting public policy and strategic planning for the company with a primary focus on corporate social responsibility and attracting new business. Henning joined United Water in 1990 and served in progressively responsible executive positions. During his tenure, he assisted in transforming United Water from a regional utility into a leading national water services company.

In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Heroes & Cool Kids, Henning is a member of the Board of Governors for the Hackensack University Medical Center and the Foundation for Free Enterprise. He is member of the New Jersey Utilities Association, the New York State Water Wise Council and the American Water Works Association.

Henning holds a degree in communications from Rutgers University, where he has also taught media relations as an adjunct professor.

Spencer B. Rosman

Spencer B. Rosman has been an active member of Heroes & Cool Kids since 2003 and has photographed the organization’s last two golf events. Most recently, he has led an initiative that resulted in Heroes & Cool Kids moving into Westchester County for the first time, with the inclusion of the White Plains School District for the 2008-09 school year.

Spencer is a Senior Vice President of Wealth Management with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Purchase, N.Y. Spencer began his career in the financial services industry with Bear, Stearns & Co. in 1987. He joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney two years later, and has been with the firm since 1989.

Raised in Scarsdale, N.Y., Spencer has been married to his wife, Roxane, since 1997. They have a son, Eric, and a daughter, Elyse. As a family, the Rosmans enjoy traveling, reading, music and theatre. In addition to this, Spencer enjoys photography and playing acoustic guitar.

Edward J. Gunther, Jr.

Edward J. Gunther, Jr. – Ed is the owner of Centric Benefits Consulting after buying out his partners effective January 1, 2008. He originally joined Centric (formerly known as Grinspec of NJ, Inc.) in 1996 after 15 years with CIGNA as a National Account Executive. At CIGNA he was responsible for writing new business, maintaining existing business ($200 million in annual premium) and managing a service team of eight individuals. Ed is currently focused on attracting new customers to Centric, while also maintaining existing customers. These goals are being achieved by providing superior customer service and utilizing the excellent industry contacts Ed has cultivated over the past 27 years. Some of the unique features Centric can provide is a customized online benefits center, an online employment guide for compliance and regulatory issues and client alerts which provide timely legislative updates.

Ed recently completed a four year term on the Board of Directors of the Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce and is currently on the Board of Directors of Heroes and Cool Kids. He is a graduate of Middlebury College.

Edward P. Wallace, Jr.

Edward P. Wallace, Jr. is the Vice President for Community Affairs and Sony USA Foundation. Ed manages corporate contributions and volunteer activities for Sony Electronics Inc. He serves on the board of directors and is a member of the executive committee of the Association of Corporate Contribution Professionals as Chairman (ACCP)—a national trade organization for corporate contributions and community relations professionals.

Ed is in charge of grant making in the United States and Mexico. He oversees the matching program, scholarship programs, corporate sponsorships and in-kind donations for the Sony USA Foundation. He sits on several boards nationwide including; American Diabetes Association, Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County, San Diego Food Bank, After the Fires Committee/San Diego Foundation, Pro Kids, Japan/American Society of Tijuana and San Diego, Heroes and Cool Kids, Teach Our Children Foundation, Carl T. Osterlof Foundation and the Ramapo College Foundation.

Ed was raised in Englewood, New Jersey and graduated from Bergen Catholic High School and Saint Peter’s College with a B.S. in Accounting. He and his wife Nancy live in Murrieta, California with their sons, EJ and Kevan. Ed’s daughter Kelly is a 2nd grade teacher and Varsity Girls soccer coach in Albany, GA.

Paul Van Dyke

Paul Van Dyke is President of Prudential Galaxy Real Estate in Bergen County, where he has worked since 1978. Paul is a graduate of Bloomfield College in New Jersey.

Paul and his wife Anne have two children. Daughter Chanel is a freshman at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and son Luke is a junior at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan.

Mike Brundage

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Heroes & Cool Kids, Mike Brundage is an Executive Vice President with PNC Bank, where he oversees retail banking in Northern New Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania. He has been in the banking business since 1975 and with PNC and predecessor banks in New Jersey for the last 31 years.

Mike resides in Norwood, N.J., with his wife and two sons.
