Dani Tocci

Dani Tocci is an Olympic weightlifter who graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College, where she played softball, with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in both Art Therapy and Religion/Philosophy. Dani obtained her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Springfield College. She is devoted to becoming a Sport Psychology Consultant and helping athletes perform to their utmost potential. She has competed in National weightlifting competitions and Division II athletics, and continues to pursue competing at the national level in her sport.

Dani has worked with competitive and beginner Olympic weightlifters, Division II softball players, Division III athletes including wrestling, men’s gymnastics, lacrosse, and men’s & women’s tennis, the general population, and most recently with adolescents. She loves giving a solid foundation to those finding their way as athletes, and believes in holding herself to a higher standard and setting an excellent example for everyone she works with.

Dani was the Head Track & Field Strength & Conditioning Coach at Manhattan College, where she was also an assistant coach for softball and baseball. She is currently a sports performance coach at the Mentis Zone, which she founded, and a mental skills coach and assistant competition coach at the NY Weightlifting Academy.
