David Borzotta was an undercover narcotics law enforcement officer in Bergen County for over a decade. While working at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office he was assigned to a DEA Task Force headquartered in Newark for several years. David was later promoted to the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain of Detectives in the Prosecutor’s Office where he supervised investigations involving narcotics, gambling, weapons, burglaries, robberies, fatal accidents, arsons, assaults, and homicides.
Before retiring from law enforcement, David lectured thousands of Bergen County Freshman about the rise of Opioid and Heroin abuse in our communities; a program he developed and deemed as a necessity to help stem the tide of accidental overdoses in our communities. He also testified to the New Jersey State Assembly in an effort to strengthen legislation pertaining to Heroin.
David has his Master’s Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He also works as a Security Supervisor at Met Life Stadium.Back to Staff
