Charis Goulding

Charis Goulding is a native of Teaneck, New Jersey who graduated from Andrews University in Michigan. While there, he played basketball and earned 3 USCAA DII National championships as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health & Fitness. Bigger than the game, he uses basketball as a bridge to connect with kids on and off the court.

Charis loves to empower students to be the best they can be in academics, sports, character, and in life. He is the program director of Hope & Future, an organization dedicated to using athletics & physical fitness to share a message of hope and striving for excellence in inner-city public schools and juvenile jails.

As a personal trainer and former high school health teacher, Charis lives by the Saint Jerome quote, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is your best.”
